Spot-Primed Countersunk Holes
Today was yet another busy (as in other than RV-stuff) day. Church in the morning, mowing the lawn in the afternoon and dinner with the neighbors in the evening. After dinner, I managed to sneak out to the garage to get a little something done. I decided to go ahead and spot-prime the spar flanges where I countersunk them for the tank and inspection plate attachment screws. Some people just take a little primer and slap it in the holes but I decided to go ahead and prime where the inspection plates and tanks attach since this area will most likley suffer a little abuse with removing and replacing stuff (the panels, in particular).
I also decided to go ahead and get the rest of the stuff out of the crates so that Jaime can get her car back in the garage. So, what do you do with 14 ft. long angles (longerons)? Well, I just threw 4 bicycle hooks into the wall above my pegboard and sat them in there. Also note the empennage tips hanging on the wall.
