Drilled Left Tank Z-brackets
First of all, let me say something about Cleaveland Aircraft Tool & Supply. These people are awesome. When I called to order some new drill bits, I mentioned to the nice lady on the phone that I had some problems with some of the new clecos I had bought; they are visually thinner than the other ones I bought from them. Well, today I get my bits and they threw in a free bag of 25 3/32 clecos! What service!
And here are the bits I ordered. The original tool kit I bought from Cleaveland didn't come with a #12 bit (something I still don't understand). I went to the local hardware store and bought an all-purpose #12 bit. Take my advice....don't do that. Just buy a Jobber bit from Cleaveland/Avery. It'll save you some serious hassle.
Then I got to work. Unfortunately, my Wednesdays and Mondays are very busy so I didn't have a whole lot of time today...just a few minutes. I removed the left tank to drill out the z-brackets.
Then I...hmm....drilled the z-brackets. This new #12 is far superior to the other piece of crap I was using. That's really all I got done today...but I've set a goal this month of doing something on the project (or at least related to the project) every single day. Let's see how long that lasts...
