Joined Aft and Center Fuse; Fitting Longerons
I made some decent progress on the project today. I started out by building a third saw horse then slightly enlarged the slots in the bulkheads where the longerons pass through. Then I got my neighbor to come over and she helped me lift up the center fuselage and put it on sawhorses while I clecoed it to the aft fuse. Looks pretty good, I think.
Then I notched the right longeron (for the vertical bars that hold the h-stab on) and slid the longeron into place, then clecoed on the right skin.
Here you can see where the longeron is notched for the vertical bars to pass through them. It sort of looks in the picture like the vertical bar is notched...but it's not.
