Started Checking Incidence
I'm been working late this week because of a deadline so I haven't had a whole lot of time for the project, but I had the thought that today I may try to set the incidence. The thought was that if the rear of the wings were too high I would have to push them down to correct which would mean that I would have more room to move the rear spar inboard. Anyway, that didn't really help very much.
Also I'm thinking of getting a Smart Tool (digital level) or borrowing one from someone. I would like to get the wing incidence as absolutely perfect as possible I believe the Smart Tool is the way to do it. I'll ask around.
Oh yeah. I've noticed on some people's websites where they're setting incidence they place the front of the level at the forward row of rivets. Well, the instructions say to set the front of the level at the forward face of the spar web...which is well forward of the rivets, as you can easily see here.
