Fabricated, Drilled Rudder Cable Exit Fairings
This morning I went an renewed my medical. Well, at least I took an exam and submitted an application. Hopefully I won't get any nastygrams from the FAA. Afterward we drove over to a local automotive paint shop to see about some interior paint. It was a complete waste of time.
Anyway, when I got home I decided to start working on the rudder cable exit fairings. I followed the instructions on Sam Buchannan's website. They worked well. Here's the left side.
And here's the right side.
I cannot find my MK-319-BS pop rivets anywhere. I know I have a bag of them but can't find them anywhere so I'm going to place an order tonight for some more. I'll pop rivet these on whever they come.
