Oshkosh 2006 Day 4

A bunch of Stearmans. Amazing how many of these things are still around.
This is the very first 172 ever made. The Cessna LSA (see yesterday's entry) is right behind it.
Here's Mr. Van himself, being filmed for something. Van should be proud of all the RVs at Osh.
Here's Burt Rutan. I caught the end of a forum he was hosting. This guy is one of the great innovators of aviation. He's sort of the opposite of Van. Nothing Rutan does is conventional.
Anyway...tomorrow I head back down to Chicago to meet up with Jaime and take the bus with wings back to Atlanta.
