Clecoed Right Tank Together; Fitted Right Tank to Wing
Today I went out and clecoed the tank together. Sounds easy, right? Well, the tank skin is super thick and it's very difficult to get the leading edge of the ribs in there nice and tight. I'm not going to outline the procedure I used here 'cause it ain't purdy, but oh well...it got in there and nothing got damaged. Oh yeah, don't worry about scratching the tank skin with the ribs (along the rivet lines), since this will get scuffed up anyway when you seal it.
After geting it together I clecod it to the spar. Very nice!
Unfortunately I have to place an order on Monday for new #12 and #19 bits as they were hopelessly bent in a freakish dual drill dropping incident. Hopefully I can find something else to work on in the meantime.
Toby the Amazing Wonderdog came out to pose for a picture and demand credit for some of the work done thusfar on these wings. Toby's a crazy dog...he's simultaneously the smartest dog and the craziest dog I've ever seen. This is a trick Jaime taught him; You give him a "beg" command and he sits on his back two legs waiting for a treat. Insane.
