Installed Baffle, Z-brackets on Left Tank
Today I went out and sealed the left fuel tank (less the access cover). Very fun stuff. First thing I did was install the fuel vent line fittings and connect the fuel vent tubing.
Yes, this is the procedure that Van's recommends. You put a cleco in every skin-to-baffle hole...and believe me...there are a lot of holes.
Jaime came out and caught me squeezing the rivets.
And this is sort of how it looks as you go along. The squeezer just causes the sealant to ooze out.

Here are the z-brackets installed. The residue you see is sort of what gets left behind when you remove the sealant with MEK.
I still need to dab sealant over all the rivet heads but it's late and time to go to bed.
