Misc. Wing Pop-Rivets; Countersinking Firewall Parts
I'm racing a deadline at the day job so today I only had an hour or so to work on the project. While I was at work, Fedex delivered a shipment of pop-rivets and the bearing that I need to finish up the wings.
I was missing the trailing edge MK-319BS rivets for the inboard-trailing edge of the flap. I drilled out the holes and put the rivets in there...
...and the MSP-42 rivets to finish re-attaching the left flap brace.
Then I finished dimpling all the holes in the firewall I could reach with my pneumatic squeezer, the started countersinking all the holes in the angles & spacers. EVERYTHING that touches the stainless firewall gets countersunk so that the forward side of the firewall will have a smooth surface which helps with cleaning and also with some clearance issues.
I also decided that while working on the firewall (and the center section which is next), that I can get Jaime's car back in the garage....so here it is!
