Riveted Stiffener Angles; Fixing Front Skin Clearance Issues
As planned I managed to get the stiffener parts riveted to the canopy frame. Then I clecoed on the plexi....you'll see why below.
This is the reason why. My forward canopy skin hangs down too low to allow the canopy to close nice and smoothly. It does this on both sides, so I'm having to file it down a little at a time. The side skins are fine, it's just the main skin. I'm also going to need to provide some more clearance between the canopy skin and the forward skin. It got caught a couple of times and put nice little dents in the skin.
