More Dynon EMS wiring
Today I continued with running the sensor wires for the Dynon EMS. Here's the whole bunch of them. Some of them will not actually go through the firewall. Some are data wires that will get connected to various stuff aft of the firewall. I still need to figure out how I'm going to penatrate the firewall.
I decided to go ahead and install the fuel and oil pressure trasducers. I'll have to remove the manifold from the firewall in order to install the requisite 45 degree AN fittings on the side.
And here are the two holes in the subpanel behind the EMS. The lower holes contains the CHT and EGT wires, while the upper one contains the rest.
Next I started installing the CHT probes. There's a little 'receiver' that threads into the cylinder, then the probe attaches to it sort of like a BNC-style connector. I have tons of questions here, and I think that I should probably look at getting some of the other work done before I run too many of these sensor wires. My main concern is getting the hoses and engine control cables run, since those are the least flexible in terms of where they will actually end up.
