Jaime's family reunion is held about every three years up in rural Pennsylvania. This trip has been on our radar for an RV trip for a while. Weather cooperated with us so we launched. This was my longest trip to date at 436nm each way (LZU->LBE). It turned out to be no big deal. The flight up was beautiful to say the least. It was smooooooooth also which is always a plus. I always like flying early in the day if at all possible for this very reason.
We we are approaching the Appalachian Mountains. Yeah, to you westerners they're called hills.
Jaime enjoyed the ride. She really liked the Koger sunshade and the suction cup shade seen here. It's nice and I can see through it very easily.
Here I'm trying to look like I know what I'm doing.
West Virginia is littered with these coal strip mines. It's apparently much safer than a traditional deep mine but it has a not so pretty affect on the environment.
